Anyone know if any of these hdd dumps include the command line version of the dvd emulator software?

I just got my T10000 the other day and was able to eject the disc drive once but now it refuses to move. I checked and couldn't see any broken components (I may have missed it) and the belt was also still intact, has anyone had this problem before?

Does is try to move or Is it rock solid when you press eject.

at worst case if the drive dosent work anymore, you can run opl on the tool.

I can feel a small twitch from it when it tries to eject but otherwise I get nothing

Ok, here is what I did, mine came out a quarter 9f the way and then went back in, what I did was took a flat headed screw driver and pulled it to its full open length and then hit eject to close it again, after that it opened an closed normally. This is completely up to you if you want to try it that way, this is what work for me. If you do it, I suggest you take the front trim off the tray to prevent that from breaking.

Okay it seems to be opening just fine now, no idea what was wrong.
I disassembled it and reassembled it according to the teardown guide.

Yup, did notice that when I originally re-assembled it that the laser assembly would rise up when I pushed the drive back in. But when I re-assembled it a second time that wasn't happening. I thought it was supposed to rise up like that but I guess not?

Does anyone know how to switch the AV output type BTW? I have a TV that supports component video but not composite video so all my output is stuck in B&W.

Nevermind, now that it's fully reassembled it's stuck again.

I'm not really sure how to test that. Should it just be auto booting discs rather than going to the TOOL screen if a disc is inserted?
Also it looks like the drive is working when placed horizontally but not when placed vertically. I wonder if it might just need some new grease.

ok, do you know the commands to run a disc on the tool ps2? it dosent auto start like a retail system, you have to input commands to run a disc.
