No idea sorry, and even after I replaced the lens, the console wouldn't read gold discs...
The console needed pressing the on/off button twice to read a game, and I couldn't find any modchip menu

That's annoying. I got rid of the previous PS2 because it wouldn't read gold discs. The one I just got in reads gold discs, but doesn't read blue discs. LOL. Here's how it looks inside. This one requires pressing the on/off button 3 times to turn on.

I wish I could find an unmodded console. These modded consoles are littering the world.

I know this feeling - I'm in Hong Kong, and pretty much every PS2 you find here has a modchip in it.

Thank you as for the Romeo Mod that’s exactly what I plan on doing , I also want to get some pic fix’s (will be hitting up Bad_Ad84’s mod shop soon) then try and figure out how to get that properly wired for a V9 ( I do recall there was a thread over on AG about this) . If anyone knows how to wire them in, a schematic will be appreciated.

The wiring is not even close to as clean as i hoped but hey, its a Messiah so its still pretty cool imo.
