Holy sh!t, there is even original prototype source code for "the soul of the sims" by Will Wright in

"117503320-The-Sims-The-Soul-of-the-Sims".

Lots of screenshots and infos on the editor "Edith" here :

The "Editor" (Edith) was leaked as DLL back then and even got cracked :







There was Edith, Ingred and Freshness.
