Can you try disabling APM in the bios?
Or add apm=off at the Lilo prompt

Hi
My Bios does not seem to have that option ?
I am also unable to add Apm=off to the prompt maybe I’m doing it wrong as it freezes
Could you explain your method please
Cheers for the help I was beginning to panic

Which Tool model is it? Pentium233 or the later Celeron?
At the lilo prompt, type: linux apm=off

Hi
Tried the Linux apm=off at lilo boot and it hangs at "freeing unused kernal memory : 44k freed"

it did this before also so not sure what's going on I did find both the batteries flat so i changed them could the bios or config been lost?

The System is a T10000H if that helps

cheers for help again
