OK, that should help, Thanks so much. I also had a friend tell me that he ran retail copies of both ratchet & clank, and tekken 5 and the tool accepted them without any master disc patch. I wondering if this is true and jut the games I ran, didn't like the system I was using. He said he'd try it again and post a video on YouTube, ill link it here if and when he makes it.

You can run dsnet on your computer, and access the feature over the network. Look at the bottom of this topic for the dsnet tool set (Linux only): https://www.psx-place.com/threads/retail-debugging-startup-card.14027/

OK, I'll give it a try, I'm also trying to telnet into the system via putty, so I'll see how that goes too.

You'll have to create an account on the machine first, can't telnet into the root accounts

This is the POST screen. Spam DEL during this time…

… to enter CMOS SETUP UTILITY. On here, select "LOAD BIOS DEFAULTS" to reset the settings.

Now enter the following menus:
STANDARD CMOS SETUP. Be sure you enter date/time in UTC/GMT+0 timezone!

BIOS FEATURES SETUP.

CHIPSET FEATURES SETUP.

POWER MANAGEMENT SETUP.

PNP/PCI CONFIGURATION.

INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS.

IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION. Make sure to select the option with MODE "LBA".

Once you have set the settings, select "SAVE & EXIT SETUP".

Once POST is finished, your screen should look like this:

Thank you for the pictures, when I get home ill configure this correctly. Do you know how to setup the system for telnet? I thought I had it set correctly but when 8 connect to the ip in putty all I get is a blank terminal and a error saying connection timed out, ill post pictures soon.

OK, i got the telnet through putty setup. and i got a HTTP site from the IP address but the site dosent seem to like my login. i tried both my admin login and my user login and it dosent work.

Username is "Administrator"
Password is "Administrator"

that worked thanks. do you know what the best tool is to patch a game as a master disc? im currently using ps2 disc patcher 3
