Mayumi v4 pu-18 stealth issue

I’ve been installing mayumi v4 mod chips for years mostly on psones and pu-20 motherboards, but recently installed it on a pu-18 motherboard. For some reason no matter the mode dino crisis can sense the chip. Is this normal?

I couldn't figure out the issue, but was informed that it could be an issue with the chip(12f629) it was burned to.

I would try burning the Hex to a 12C508 or a 12F508 and see if the stealth code works with it. I ran into a forum post somewhere the other day saying that stealth only works on some chips with certain models.

Not sure what the issue is as I've tested the 12F629 port of Mayumi v4 on a PU-18 board before. Mine was an NTSC-U model. What model is the PS1?

Couldn't hurt to try the original code.
