Because every forum needs one. LOL
Don't feel bad if my speeds far exceed yours. I have this for a reason.

I used to have Xfinity, which is much faster IMO. But nowadays, it's so damn expensive ?

This is actually pretty damn good for Australia:

I've got fiber to the premises, so theoretically I could get much faster speeds if I was willing to pay for it (up to 1GB/s supposedly), it's just limited by the provider based on how much I pay. As it is, this comes in at $60 a month here.

Oh snap, I'm actually winning for ping time. That's probably the first time an Aussie has ever said that! :)

I am cheating a bit, this is a server that I use for work :)

Here is what I am currently getting on my home network.
Although I am using a wired powerline adaptor and I am on a different floor to the router and at the other end of the house.

Well, this is embarrassing... (mind you, this is not always the case. We always have dropouts)

I'm using a super cheap tariff, $5/month. Sorry for the mosaic, my street was mentioned there

I remember being really excited when we upgraded from a 28.8kbps modem to a 56kbps modem. Real world max download rates were about 120 mbits per HOUR. I spent months chain-downloading ROMs with getright.... nowadays you could have downloaded the same amount in about 5 minutes. It's almost absurd when you think about it.

This is basically the best I can get in my area. Do wish the upload could be much much higher.
