What OS are you trying to run it under (and if applicable is it 32 or 64 bits)?
Which version of CDVDGEN are you trying to install?

Is there a way to easily patch a custom DVD-R image that's working on emulator but not a (rebug) BC PS3? If not, is there a way to extract the games from said disc?

Try changing the compatibility to XP.
