Not exactly all that esoteric, but one that probably a lot of people have never played - Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem is one of my favorites, and also one of my favorite GC games.

Great House of the Dead 3 video. I had a copy of the Wii version too, was great fun, and a great conversion! Always wanted it for the Xbox back in the day, but it was too pricey for me then.
