Really solid video, Borman, as always.
The Duke is an amazing controller imo.
Very fun to see the wacky sketches showing just how liquid and organic the design trends were back then. So cool! :D

It's certainly different than the currently very popular "black box" designs. Maybe the PS5 is a bit of a callback to the early 00's in that regard :p

I really think so. I'm curious to find out how it feels. It looks a tiny bit uncomfortable tbh...

I know a few people who worked on it, but not who did the industrial design. We have a metal plate that says Akebono which was given to people who worked on it.

Glad to know the real story behind it. All the prior years I joked with my friends that Shaquille O'neal designed the Duke lol
