Hey all,

About 10 years ago I bought a Xeno GC mod chip and tried to install it. However, I could barely solder at the time and the chip didn't seem to make full contact with the drive board. The cube ended up in a box that I just found again as I'm completing all kinds of unfinished projects during the COVID lockdown.

My question is: what's the best way to clean up this mess and try to get it to work? I've tried a suction tool to remove the solder but I found it hard to actually get anything off the board (could be the shitty quality of the tool). Should I get desoldering braid and try that? Or just try to heat up the solder again with a soldering iron?

All tips appreciated!
