May assemblergames rest in peace in the digital havens of the internet with the likes of the unseen, the lost, and the found. With the legends of the missed sites like ytmnd, and batman in that one animated series episode where the joker gave a eulogy of his own for batman.

-that one girl who tried to register and post at assembler but was unable to because the site had no respectable admins

Took it long enough wasn't supposed to close in July?

What was Modern Vintage Gamer's beef? He seemed happy to see it go.

I would assume MVG was like the rest of us - if you say you are going to do something...do it. Dont say you are closing down the site then keep it up like some douche bag while acting like nothing is wrong and ignoring everyone.

Just peel the freaking bandage off already...

It’s probably for the best. The community was basically dead, and people were able to get away with blatantly violating the rules since the site had an absent admin. I wonder what Kevin is doing these days - it’s like he’s just disappeared. I think he should’ve just taken the site down when he said he was going to or soon after that, then at least it could die with some dignity. But nope, he even fucked up the job of killing the site he’d already ruined. Amazing.

More like people violating the rules out of spite for Kevin. most of us moved on months ago.

Assemblergames was a great site for a long time, It's sad to see it go but it's for the best. I think a lot of people needed a fresh start after some
of the things that happened there.
