take a piece of parchment paper and fold it so it has a sharp edge, put some light heat on the sticker while wedging the parchment paper under the sticker. it works perfectly for me and i can pull any sticker cleanly with no damage

you can kind of get a slight "sawing" action with the parchment.

Mine has that same contact paint stuff. I can’t take it apart but I can lift the d pad rubber piece to see it a little.
