Just curious about potential data recovery, builds exploration that's all.

Regarding your question I'm sure someone else will join the discussion and shed the light on if it's possible to reactivate the xdk.

But from my understanding it's pretty complicated and almost close to being impossible.

Assuming it was an ERA kit it’s impossible to reactivate them without a new key. You’d need to be part of ID@xbox in order to reactivate the ERA certificate. You can reactivate as UWA for the 20 dollar fee, but that has very limited permissions.

You can potentially reactivate it but you would need a way to either get whitelisted through the partner center or enter the ip range of a whitelisted dev kit
