Hey all! This is my first time making a thread here, but it's also the biggest one I've made so far:
Very recently, around 10 early builds of Sonic CD's mobile remaster have been found and dumped from a specific lot containing SEGA Macintosh workstations.
These builds range from between June 22nd 2011 all the way to November 15th of the same year, and there's various differences found within these builds!
The builds in question can be found here.
With help by Mephiles / Mefiresu, who is a part of the team maintaining the RSDK Decompilation projects, there's diff files containing various engine differences between all the builds here.
There's also a Twitter thread made by the Retro Engine Facts account, discussing these prototypes.
There's research into these prototypes going on, but I will update this main post with new links to documented findings when available!
