[PC] Simsville (beta) unreleased ?

To make a long story short...Ive tried everything in the past, but just recently stumbled across these comments :


In the comments someone writes that an assemblergames user wanted to sell a dev-build for 3000$

And here someone claims, that someone else from modthesims2.com, had access to a beta build of Simsville...

Just rumors or was there indeed a dev build out there ?

Pretty sure it's just rumors, The website mentioned in the unseen64 article was only up for a year and maxis never announced that the game was going to be released anywhere else.
