Request Help identifying unknown transparent ASCIIPad controller for the Super Famicom

Does anyone recognize this controller? I obtained it on Yahoo Japan and I can't find a single picture or mention of this variant existing. It has a slightly different PCB number. The pcb on the clear controller is 56V593A and the pcb on the stock ASCIIPad is 56V593B.
