I've been an assemblergames lurker for years and created this account in an attempt to gain knowledge of PS2 beyond that which lurking provides.

As far as consoles go I'm just interested in launch PS2s and PS2 debugging stations.
Massive fan of Grand Theft Auto and Rockstar Games prior to Leslie Benzies' departure.
GTA V v1.0 Story Mode is the only reason I own a PS4.

Back to lurking, now with occasional questions.

I sourced a launch PS1 unit as a bare unit at a car boot sale.
Interesting just how different the ealy units are from some of the later ones.
Not least as the early ones have the "proper" audio outputs....
